Holiday Giving Network Volunteer Job Description

Volunteers are needed to assist the Access Pantry Resource Centers during the months of October and November. Needs are greatest in November. Volunteers usually work two hours a week. Training is available.  For more information, call the Access office at 774-2175.

  1. Registration: assist in filling out Holiday application forms at the pantries. Follow simple eligibility guidelines and print clearly. Be available approximately 2 hours a week in October and/or November.
  2. Data entry: assist in entering application form data into pantry computer program (access database). Flexible timing.
  3. Clerical: assist with filing, mailings, matching applicants with providers. Usually during pantry hours.

Bilingual Speakers

Spanish or other bilingual speakers are especially needed at some of the sites. If you have these skills, please call for suggestions of sites that especially need translators.
